I keep a pistol in my pocket at all times.
It’s loaded with lies.
Strictly there for self defense.
I’m not one for violence
but there comes a time
when inaction becomes a crime.
only then
would I consider causing harm
but to be unarmed is to be unsafe.
These days,
there’s no way to know where
it’s okay to go when
the police do not care.

When everyone has got a gun

It makes a hero of anyone
Who will show some restraint
and put the gun away
no need for weapons in a discussion.
